This project is a sound project, based on Johannes Itten’s book "The Elements of Colors”. I built a system where sounds and colors are interchangeable: hue, lightness, and saturation correspond to tone, pitch, and timbre, respectively. There are many color samples in the book, and I interpreted these color samples through playing piano. In addition to these sound designs, the visual concept was to put the color sample from the book into a CD case, and finally I used the same system building method and combined it with the concept of the pentatonic score to translate the sound back into the typography.
